Case Sensitive Issue jpg vs JPG

Post by Nokturne »

First, let me say -- this is by far one of the best picture download programs out there. I've used it for years without too many complications.

However, I am having a rather strange problem. I did search the forums and found only one other instance where case sensitivity was an issue. My problem is that Pica stops downloading the moment the file extension changes from lower case jpg to upper case JPG.

For example:

sunset_01.jpg
sunset_02.jpg
sunset_03.jpg
sunset_04.JPG -- the moment it hits this uppercase extension the program stops as if the job is over.

I then have to manually enter the new URL and let the program download files until it then hits a lower case extension (jpg) and then it stops again. So basically if I am dealing with say groups of 20-25 images all with similar case extensions, I have to restart the project everytime the case changes until I get the entire set of around 150 images.

Is there a box I can uncheck or a filter I can use to avoid this issue?

Also, with this same site, it downloads just fine until the 99th file -- and once it hits 100 it stops. I have to then enter in the 100th image URL and start up the project again until the remaining 50 or so images are downloaded.

So basically:

forest_98
forest_99
forest_100 -- it stops before this file.

I am reading over the help files and such but it can be a bit perplexing. The filters are somewhat confusing, and I am still not sure what to do with the Support J/VB/Javascript and Search Sequence pictures boxes.

I am using Pica Loader 1.47.

Thanks for the help.
