Koalabear, I know ya hear it all the time, but, HELP!
I hate to be an additional statistic in your daily quota, man. Sorry! But, hopefully, this won't be a big problem. I am trying to download from a Yahoo image search results page, and I tried using the instructions you, yourself posted for the same problem with a Google image search. It started to work! But, it was sucking up EVEYTHING on every page! Buttons, sliderbars, side-panels, banners, ads, Even little blank squares the size of a period (what's up with those?)!! So, I set the options to "All pictures without thumnails", and it "Completed" the session. I shut down and restarted, but it immediately Completed again, with zero pictures downloaded. It must have been something I did. Or, maybe, something I just don't know about the operation of Pica, but, whatever the case, I can't figure it out. I give up! Please help? Thanks, in advance. I see, just from reading all the other posts, that you must be about crazy, from all these "Help Me!!" posts, but I know we all REALLY appreciate the answers you give, when we don't know what else to do! Hang in there! Later, Brad.

Hello, again, K-Bear! I appreciated the information you took the time to put together. However, it completely failed to work for me!
Well, not "completely". It did do better than when I tried on my own. At least this time it did open all fifty connections, and search them all. After which, it would download them, then analyze them, and then it would say "waiting". Then it would time them out and go to the next link and start again, only to do the same thing, over, and over again, until all possible links had been checked. At this point it would "complete" with 0 pictures downloaded, and a little over 6,000 errors! I followed your advice to the letter! I even downloaded your demo pictures, and compared them to what I was doing, to be sure that I had it all right. But, somehow, it failed to download even one picture. What do you suggest I do? I started where you said to: http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/i ... p=kunoichi
Which I then changed to: http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?p=kunoichi
I, of course, made all the other changes, as well. But, I don't know what went wrong.
I'm going to try again, today, with a search on robots. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks, again, for your help, K-Bear! Later! Brad

Ok. Here it is.
I have XP Pro, too. Here is the project file. I think I have it set up correctly. If not, then I hope you can see what I missed. I have Norton Internet Security, but I have it set to allow Pica any access it wants. It has never interfered with Pica before. I have also, tried initiating this same (and other) searche(s) from the yahoo companion toolbar (I do most of my searches from here, because it's just so convenient), as well as from the search window on my MY Yahoo! homepage. Pica wasn't satisfied with any of these. This project file was initiated from the URL in your instructions. Incidently, I told some of my friends, who also use Pica regularly, and have the same Yahoo issue, that I was getting a handle on this situation, and now I have eight people emailing me almost daily, hounding me for any news from the Pica-Guru! LOL I hope you're getting paid for your time! Anyway, Thanks again, K-Bear! Brad
