Forum has thumbs but actual pics linked to another site

Post by TstebinsB »

I want to download pics from the SuperiorPics Celeb Forums. Usually, these pics are posted as thumbnails on the forum but when you click on them, the full-size pic opens up on ImageShack's website.

For example, a SuperiorPics link is this: http://www.superiorpics.com/cgi-bin/ult ... /1192.html But when you click the pic, it opens up on: http://img48.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img48&im ... ndchen.jpg

How do I set up PicaLoader so that it goes through the pics on the SuperiorPics page then downloads them on the ImageShack page?

Try this file. It will download all images in each forum.

Thanks but the tasks settings you set up are for downloading the whole forum. That would take over 10GBs and hours to finish. All I get is "Disk space less than the limit, Project Paused."

Let's say I want the pics from http://www.superiorpics.com/cgi-bin/ult ... /4051.html, PL will know to go to ImageShack and get those specific pics. If the next time I want pics from http://www.superiorpics.com/cgi-bin/ult ... /1195.html, all I have to do is change the SuperiorPics URL and PL will get those ImageShack pics.

To do it, I created a new task going 1 level, clicked on Anywhere for Pic/Page locations, and had "http://img" as my Page URL Include Filter. For Picture Filter Profile, I have All pictures except thumbnail. It's been working great. Thanks for the help anyway.

Sorry, I thought you wanted the whole forum. Sounds like you have it under control. Labor intensive but fast! I usually use that method on sites that get updated frequently after doing a whole scan.
