Question on how picture are saved
Re: Question on how picture are saved
some site use php/jsp/asp or other technical to generate pics from database, so these pics have NO orginal filename:(
you can try to use main menu->project->properties->custom filename feature to make a filename by yourself.

Re: Question on how picture are saved
blah I see all need to play around with that then. Also is there anyway for it to save .rars or .zips? if they are a file attachment.

and if something is say 10 pages deep would I just set it to
Page location and picture location within this directory only?

I am having a real hard time getting them to save as none .php I mean I can clearly see it in the viewer on the Picaloader screen but all of them say attachment.php and when I click properties on them it shows the filenames such as 51616941351216.jpg but they all save as .php files.

Re: Question on how picture are saved
Those .php files are actually .jpg in disguise. Open Windows Explorer and go to your project folder. Pick any one of the .php files and change the extension to .jpg, and then double-click to open it. If the picture shows up correctly in the associated picture viewing program on your PC, then you know you are getting the right pictures but named with a wrong extension.
In that case what you need is a "batch file renaming" program that can do the job for you. There are many shareware/freeware available so you may want to look around for what works best for your needs. Cnet's http://www.download.com would be a good starting point, if you are not sure.
Good luck!
