I set PL off and let it continue until it finishes. When PL does finish it says "x pics downloaded and y errors". No problem, the errors are all access denied type due to the download limit.
The next day when I set PL off (having configured the project to reject duplicates) it goes through and doesn't bother with images already downloaded (which is correct) but for those that it hasn't yet obtained it doesn't download them either; the error log report shows the correct URLs for the images but has this error "Can't create local file" logged. As a result no images get downloaded at all.
Now, there is plenty of room on the drive (in excess of 30GB) so that can't be the problem and it happens after the daily download limit has been lifted so I do have access to the images. However, I can't work out what might be the problem and I suspect this is a bug in PL.
What is the workaround?
I already emailed this to the support address but never got a reply
so I hope I'll getter a better response here (I am a registered user).
