Batch Download Pictures From Website

Hi Using picaloader with yahoo groups seems to be so slow, it never does more than 5-7kilobytes and hovers around 3-5kb. Is there a reason for this, i used the project template for yahoo groups. Is there a way to increase the speed? I have it set to 10 connections, and I have a 62Kilobyte internet ...
