Using some features of Picaloader

I have seen the help file of picaloader, And I still don't know when can be useful allowing read java script. In some of the examples that I have seen, in sites that there's no java script you suggested to uncheck, why?
I have another doubt, there are sites that doesn't have links to the galleries that are more deep in the directory, how do you tell picaloader to search for them. I have tried many things but all is useless.
This is an example:
http://www.url.com/galleries/namenumbersandletters
And the URL of the picture is like this:
http://www.url.com/galleries/namenumber ... s/name.jpg
How do i make it work, if the pages doesn't have any links between them?
But I Know that the galleries are there!!
