Suddenly stopped working.

I've been using Picaloader for over a year, and it's been working great. Suddenly, it doesn't seem to work. I have even tried projects that I have downloaded successfully in the past.

The message I get is:

Project Completed:

0 web page(s) were read and 0 pictures were saved to disk.
1 errors occurred, you can switch to Report pane for detail.

The report pane is empty. What happened?

I have made no changes to my system since the last use of Picaloader, and I have already installed the latest version.

Any help would be appreciated

I've searched the forums but can't find any solution for this issue - I'm trying to download from webshots but keep getting the same error as above or one saying that it's searched a certain number of sites and has saved no pics - every now and then it works but mostly it doesn't.

I'm using the latest version.

Help!

Hi, could someone actually say how to fix this problem as it's just started happening to me too - I'm new to this and can't see any "replies"....

Thanks.

OK - have got it working on my own. Closed down firefox and opened explorer instead - now picaloader works. Must be some firefox conflict.

Please vowsoft support firefox.

Bit more info. When I closed down firefox and opened explorer for the first time in months, zonealarm required me to authenticate explorer (I reinstalled zonealarm ~a month ago). I guess that picaloader is somehow using explorer to access the web - someone at vowsoft should be able to confirm this. So it looks like my firewall may be guilty. What I don't understand is that I closed zonealarm down when I was trying to get picaloader working (prior to opening explorer). This though didn't help - I still got the same error report. Anyway, works now....hope this is of some help.
