picaloader after a crash or freeze/reboot

also even when restarting pl from a crash if there is a large database from which it crashed, dit takes forever for picaloader to read or it runs infinitely ie freezing until you erase the project... does picaloader have a save last good state and also a log that records crash and what it was doing prior to crash like a blackbox?
