I think if you take the defaults on the Task Options Tab you'll be able to download just about any site. Just plug in the URL & press the Start button.
The key is to set these options to download only what you want and do it as fast as possible. It's a waste of time to download pictures and analyze URL links that you don't want! This means that each project/task will have different settings because every website is usually different from one another.
There's usually always more than one way to setup your task(s). What I try to do is analyze what I what and then how often I want updates and that will determine how I setup a project/task(s). What I often do is setup one task and download everything I want and then modify the same task to download just the updates I want. It usually takes a little time to analyze & experiment but it saves time in the long run.
Try these two plp files and modify them if needed. (this is the first time I've uploaded plp files - I hope they work without me doing anything to them!)

Thanks for the help tak00, its just so frustrating trying to find out a way to get pics off sites in dialup, specially if you have to do it in a trial and error way. And would it be safe to say tha i can just edit the Desktopstar.plp file and use it on the desktopgirls site ?

I seem to recall that there is some difference between the Desktop Stars, Desktop Girls & Wonderful Girls sites where the filters needed to be changed. I know for sure between the last two above but I don't recall exactly what off the top of my head.
Since you're on a dialup, I would search these forums, there's a plp file you can download that directly gets the images from their URL. For example you give it a URL range like [5000-5999] and you'll get 1000 images and then you just need to adjust the range when the website adds updates. You can determine the number usually by hovering over the thumbnail and looking for the ID= number. This is probably the fastest way and should work for all three sites providing you make the neccessay adjustment for each ones URL structure.
