More Suggestions Wanted!
Individual task settings.
First, I think there needs to be a way to mark an individual task inside a project as paused or done. If you start a project with task 1 checked, then pause it, uncheck task 1, check task 2, and restart it, then later, pause it, check task 1 again, and resume it again, it starts task 1 all over. The ability to pause it would make it remember where it was at. A marking of 'done' would just be a visual clue to separate it from an unchecked (disabled) task.
It would also be nice if there was some way to set the maximum number of connections per task/server.
The ability to specify HTTP referrer information/useragent strings and maybe some other fields for a task could also help.

Quick Task Creation
Assuming I wish to mass download a large section such as:
http://www.site.com/[0001-2500]/[01-15].jpg
I think it would be nice to automatically split this into several tasks. In order to do so, replacement parameters could be used in the include/exclude URLS, and once could select which repeat zone to split on.
For example, to split the repeat zone [0001-2500] into groups of 20 would produce the tasks:
http://www.site.com/[0001-0020]/[01-15].jpg
http://www.site.com/[0021-0040]/[01-15].jpg
http://www.site.com/[0041-0060]/[01-15].jpg
...
Also, a fix of the 'current directory or deeper' option, as it doesn't seem to work well in 1.47 (perhaps a bug?), but also goes to higer directorys than the initial URL. Actually it seems to work with a real URL, but not with one like above with repeating areas. I may be wrong.

favor boxes
Are you talking about favor boxes or something else?! Umm. There is a good page for favor boxes perhaps!
Also, you can find some other content on it,such as criminal defense attorney or lifeforce international or schreibarbeiten.
You can search on the homepage try some other keywords,no ads even.these page updated every day.Because of the huge database,it perhaps not very fast,if you don't like it,take it easy.

GUI ?
I think Pica team must see ACDSee for the interface. It is not bad at all to copy it and make a little changes to it.
For the next version:
In the monitoring section, user can cancel one or more url task not like now that user only cancel it to all project (not per url).
In help menu, it would be more useable if u provide with complit regular expresion syntax and the samples.

Hi, I am an new user to PicaLoader and I feel that its an excellent software. So first, my hearty congratulations for the development team.
Here are a few of my suggestions:
1. There should be a duplicate task option. For example sometimes we would want the same task again except a minor change in the url. So it would be easy if we could replicate the task again (under a different name perhaps) and just make the necessary changes instead of typing it all over again.
2. There should be an 'Undo' option in the Edit Menu. At times we may have unwantedly made changes to a project file and at present there is no option of undoing the changes done.
3. As soon as a picture is downloaded it is displayed even if the user is browsing other pages. So the user has to again browse back tthe previous page. I feel there should be an option to turn off automatically displaying the latest downloaded image.
4. Can you include a small browser pane to view the actual folder in which the images are stored..? (Just like they have in softwares like ACDSee.)
Thanx.
