sorry, I miss the case that a "-" in gallery name
I had renew the deviantart.plt
For "can't get the file" error, most time it cause of server or connection busy, just switch to "Report" pane after download completed, press "Move All To Queue" button, then press "Start" button to re-download these error files.

I apologize for the late reply, the newest version fixes the "-" issue, thanks!
Have you made any progress in figuring out how to grab things from the "scraps" section of galleries?

Hello!
I would like to know how to download a collection from Deviantart. I mean I have several favorites grouped in sections and I would like to download my favorites, if possible, maintaining the structure in my favs. If not possible, how can I download my the files in my favorites folder?
I also would like to download all the files I have in separated folders located in the Messages Section located in the left edge of the webpage and below the name FOLDERS. Is there any possiblity to perform all these tasks?
Thank you very much, in advance
Mart

Thank you, KoalaBear, for this nifty little method to download images from deviantArt. I've tried it on a few of my favorite artist's galleries, and it only seems to do well with artists that have only a couple dozen images or so... When I tried running it on an artist's gallery who has over 200 images, it chokes and only gets some of them. Probably about 60-70 on the first run-through, then some more on subsequent presses of the "Start" button. After a while though, it stops getting any more and leaves me with only 90 images downloaded. Here's the URL to one of the artists' pages that I'm having trouble with:
http://freedom981.deviantart.com/gallery/
I'm also using the latest version of that template you posted a couple of days ago. Please let me know why it won't get them all? Thanks.

This is cause of the deviantArt's "Mature filter" feature.
You can open deviantArt with IE (must use IE, not firefox or other browser), login with your acount and password (if you not yet have, just sign in, it is free), then change your profile like attached picture show. Keep IE open, run PicaLoader and start downloading:)

No help. Actually, I've always has that "Mature Content" checkbox checked, but it is true that I never use IE.
So, I tried launching only IE and browsing to that gallery (after logging in and making sure the "Mature Content" checkbox was checked), then running PicaLoader while IE was still open and viewing that main gallery page. Same problems as before.
It'll get about 66 or so images with a bunch of errors, then I run it again and picks up a few more, then again to pick up some more, etcetera, until it finally cannot get any more than 89. It also seems to only "read" 107 web pages (according to the status bar) before it dies, then I have about 13 errors on the "Report" tab (13 images which are already downloaded anyway).
I can tell that you are certainly partly correct--it does seem to be downloading only those images that are not labeled as "Mature." So how do I get PicaLoader to grab the "Mature" ones as well? Having IE run in the background while I'm logged in with the "Show Mature Content" checkbox checked doesn't seem to help at all...
