I have over 10,000 photos I need to download from a site like this:

http://sub.domain.net/staff/DisplayImage. ... B=00000001

The 00000001 actually points to the employees photo which is stored as 00000001.jpg.
My delimma is that my id's will range from 00000000-70000000. This range is 7 million photos but it will actually only pull 10,000 successful images. If the image does not exist we have a "No Image" .jpg that appears.

I have the full list of Employee ID's and could create a batch list if your program supports that. I am trying to figure out how to import a batch file of all these urls that I've got in a text file to the full url, minus the .jpg. When I open the page it will actually download the image as "DisplayImage.asp" and I have to rename it to "DisplayImage.jpg and it appears as an image just fine. I'd like it to name my files as 00000001.jpg so that th eemployee id is the file name.jpg.

Any advise???

Please check this article as a reference:
is-it-possible-to-download-all-pictures-of-one-folder-t2164.html

For the downloaded filename, you can select main menu->Project->Properties, and change Picture filename to "Customize filename" and enter URL(-1,8)+"."+TYPE

If you are not expert at Excel, you can PM me your file of employee ID:)

does the app support the "URL" in this recommended regular expression: URL(-1,8)+"."+TYPE

appears as though the app does not like this one bit. i've tried and tried to get something to work that pulled the url from the list of files i have chosen to load from in the csv

Please let me know how to get the URL parameter to work. It was provided to me a while back and it didn't work, then I was sent a sample script that did work and I lost the script to see why it worked all of the sudden. Thanks!
