Use PicaLoader as Flickr Downloader!

First, save attached .plt file to your computer, run PicaLoader, open your project or create a new project, select main menu->Task->Import Task(s) to import the .plt file.

Then enter the start URL by yourself:
This task template can work for these case:
1. Download pics by Flickr tag, e.g. you want download all pics with tag "baby", the start URL should be:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/tags/baby
2. Download pics by user, just enter the user album URL, e.g.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/jay_que/
3. Download pics sets or a user, just enter the sets URL, e.g.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/jay_que/sets/72157600059330372/
4. Download search result, e.g, you want download search result of "rose mary", the start URL should be:
http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=rose+mary

Here is a small improvement to allow it to work with user names with a hyphen.

Change the 5th line to:

the script is fantastic. There is only one point which is unknown for me:

big pictures are marked with 123456_b.jpg- they are downloaded fantastic.

But it failed with the

original pictures which are marked with 123456_o.jpg.

What must I change to get only these pictures??

It seems I can't download from group pools..

Sometimes, PicaLoader is unable to download Original size photos because the user hasn't made them available. Can anyone create a script to download Large size photos?

The reason that you cannot download large or original size photos from flickr is that they are not made available to you.
Most people that do not make the large sizes available do so in an attempt to keep people from improperly using the photos (aka: stealing) as their own. Any attempts to gain access to such or use improperly obtained files is a violation of copyright laws and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
I would hope that if there is anyone moderating this forum that they would discourage the request of the creation of a script allowing original sizes to be downloaded as the request itself is an attempt to commit violation of US Copyright law.
I would assume that you would not allow a request here to gain access to information aiding in theft of goods or services just the same.

Flickr appear to have changed how their pages work - PicaLoader now reports "X web pages were read and 0 pictures were saved to disk" every time. Any chance of an update to this script?
